About
I'm Ryan Brown, a senior cloud and infrastructure engineer in Los Angeles. RBIT Systems is my consultancy.
I have spent more than 15 years building and running infrastructure in enterprise environments: multi-account AWS organizations, Microsoft 365 tenants, identity systems, networks, and the automation that keeps all of it honest. I still do that work every day. RBIT Systems exists because most businesses cannot get that level of engineering without hiring a consultancy that sends someone else to do the actual work.
Here the person you email is the person who signs the work. When you describe a problem, you are describing it to the engineer who will fix it, not to an account manager who will relay it. That changes the quality of the questions you get asked, and it changes how fast things move.
How I work
Plainly. I explain what I find and what I recommend in language you can take to your leadership team, and I put it in writing. Every engagement leaves documentation behind, because a system only you can operate is a liability I would not accept in my own business, and I will not leave one in yours.
Security is a default, not an upsell. MFA coverage, tested backups, and sane access controls get checked early in any engagement, because they are the difference between a bad week and a bad quarter.
No lock-in. Month-to-month arrangements, your accounts stay yours, and the documentation means any competent engineer could pick up where I left off. Clients stay because the work holds up.
What I work with
AWS and Azure, Terraform, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, enterprise networking, Zoho's business platform for low-code builds, and a lot of scripting. When AI genuinely fits a problem, I build it to run inside your own tenant, where your data already lives.
If that sounds like the kind of help your business needs, get in touch.
