Privacy policy

Effective August 27, 2026. This policy explains what information RBIT Systems collects, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. It covers rbitsystems.com and the ways RBIT Systems communicates with clients and prospective clients, including email, phone, and text messaging.

1. Who we are

RBIT Systems is a managed IT services provider based in Los Angeles, California, serving small and mid-sized businesses. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" mean RBIT Systems. "You" means anyone who visits this site, contacts us, or receives services from us.

If you have questions about this policy or about how your information is handled, contact us at hello@rbitsystems.com or 310-304-4014.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to answer inquiries and deliver services. There are three ways information reaches us.

Information you give us

Information we collect automatically

This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no analytics trackers, and does not build advertising profiles.

Information we receive while delivering services

When we work on your systems we necessarily encounter information about your business, your staff, and your infrastructure, including account names, device details, and system configuration. We treat this as confidential, use it only to perform the work you engaged us for, and handle it under the terms of our service agreement with you.

3. How we use information

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only in these limited circumstances.

SMS opt-in data and consent

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services to us, such as customer service, is permitted, and those subcontractors may not use SMS opt-in data for any other purpose.

5. Text messaging (SMS) terms

By giving us your mobile number and ticking the SMS consent box on our contact form, you consent to receive text messages from RBIT Systems at that number. These are conversational, one-to-one service messages related to your inquiry or engagement, such as scheduling, status updates, and follow-ups.

We do not send marketing or promotional text campaigns, and we do not send bulk or automated text blasts.

We keep a record of each opt-in, including when it was given, so that we can demonstrate consent. Opt-out requests are honored promptly and permanently unless you later opt back in.

6. Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived token on the contact page solely to verify that a submission is not automated. We do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because we do not perform the kind of cross-site tracking those signals are designed to limit.

7. Data retention

We keep inquiry and engagement records for as long as needed for the business relationship and for the period required by normal legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and then delete them. SMS consent records are kept for as long as we may text you and for a reasonable period afterward as proof of consent. Call recordings and transcripts are kept only as long as they are useful for the engagement they relate to.

8. Data security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, multi-factor authentication, and reputable vendors to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the protection of client information seriously and it is a core part of the service we sell.

9. Your rights and choices

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined by the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@rbitsystems.com. We will respond within the time the law allows.

10. Children's privacy

This site and our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

This site may link to third-party sites we do not control. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

12. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated directly to active clients.
